Last July was my oldest daughter's 5th birthday. I know, I know... why the heck is this post so late! Anyways, I remember sitting and talking with my wife as we prepped for the party. We couldn't believe how much has happened in the past 5 years and how much of that, wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for my sweet little girl surprising us:) It's Bella that really made Lindsey and I get super focused about career and lifestyle. She was the catalyst for it all and we love her dearly. Now Lindsey does a great job figuring out what our girls want for their birthdays and then delivering the goods. This time around, Bella wanted a Spider Man themed party and we were all about supporting that! She had some how found all the 1960 cartoons on Netflix and watched them non-stop so making the sure the party included the theme music was a must. Lindsey also bought an adult Spider Man costume for me to wear at a certain time and if you know me, you know I like dressing up and acting like a fool. What a wonderful time we had and our closest friends were able to attend. Of course, Rachel and Kyle from Sweet Tooth Confections made us the desert spread and rocked the cake beyond belief. Lindsey captured a lot of this party with our digital camera but seeing it in Film is another story. The colors are crazy and the pictures from the Contax just can't be matched. I'm secretly hoping Bella wants a He-Man party next year. I should be in-shape enough for that costume by July since I'm doing my second round of P90X ha ha!!!
